Original rare Swiss made 8 days Arnex / Reuge musical alarm desk clock featuring automaton diorama “The fountain”/”La fountaine” in the front window below the dial.
When activated by the alarm the Swiss Reuge music box inside plays two different songs “Oh, What a Beautiful Morning” and “A la claire fontaine.” and the automaton with four (4) movements shows the hunter raising and lowering his arm, the horse drinking from the fountain, the water flowing, and the beautiful maiden pumping the well.
