The clock encases a 8-day mechanical movement, made probably by Jaeger Lecoultre (usually all Hermes clocks used JLC movements). HERMES introduced this clock in 1940s. The clock itself is quite heavy, made of brass and wood. This is the most original, old and biggest version of this clock, the diameter is 18″ (46 cm). Beautiful dial with engraved Arabic numerals. Twice signed “Hermes Paris”. Such Hermes clocks are quite rare and selling for more then $7000 on the major auctions.
