Vintage Swiss made automatic Bueche Girod VOLVO 18K white gold wristwatch in the form of recognizable Volvo automobile radiator grill on vintage NOS rubber “Tropic” driver strap and with its original box. The watch was made in limited edition specifically for Swiss Watch Fair in 1968 (Foire de Bâle 1968).
Case: Two-body, solid, polished, flat bezel, 20mm lugs, flat top crystal. Dial: Gray with stripes, radiator grill shaped, with applied white gold pyramidal indexes, below 1 o’clock, the “Volvo” logo with arrow painted in black and white enamel and a transversal black and white line, aperture for the date. “Bâton” white gold and black hands. Movement: Cal. AS 1716-17, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock-absorber, self compensating flat balance-spring.
