Fine, self-winding, arched barrel-shaped vintage 40mm stainless steel Omega Speedmaster “TV Dial / Screen” aka Professional Mark 4.5, Cal. 1045, Ref. 176.0014 / 376.0805, SN: 39196215, made circa 1975. Features the very cool Lemania 5100 or Omega 1045, an automatic chronograph movement with central second and minute counters, a day-date complication, 12-hour register, night/day indication with 24h indicator. Certainly one of the most fashion-influenced and audacious Speedmasters of them all. It represents everything a 1970s watch should be. It’s chunky, it has an unusual shape, it is big and heavy and it has a totally distinctive colour. Rare unusual speedy in very good condition, comes on its original Omega ST 1204/212 steel bracelet, fitting vintage Omega red box and guarantee papers (empty). Runs great and all functions work as expected.
C. Three-body, polished and brushed, screw-down case back with the embossed “Seamaster” logo, tachometer scale graduated to 500UPH reverse-painted on the sapphire crystal. D. Grey with luminous baton indexes, inner Arabic five minutes, outer minute/fifth second scale, subsidiary dials for the seconds and the 12-hour register, the 24 hours with night/day indication by means of an arrow on a revolving disc, 60-minute register by means of a central white jet hand, apertures for the day and date. Luminous white baton hands. M. Cal. 1045, copper-plated, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shockabsorber, self-compensating flat balance spring, micrometer regulator.
