Original vintage Seiko Giugiaro Ref. 7A28-7000 Ripley’s ALIEN Watch, model “Sports 100” Chronograph, made in 1980s. The watch was conceived by Italian car designer Giorgetto Giugiaro in the early 1980s, and is known for its blocky panel that houses chunky chronograph buttons to the right of the watch face. It was also the world’s first watch to use an analog quartz chronograph movement. And of course this watch Ref. 7A28-7000 was worn by actress Sigourney Weaver who plays the role of former warrant officer and alien attack survivor Ellen Ripley in the best action-horror movie ever made James Cameron’s 1986 “Aliens”. Runs great and all functions work as expected, chrono functions perfectly – reset to zero. Please take a look at the photos for the condition. Case measures 43mm (excluding the crown). Original full sized Seiko bracelet and original box. Age related condition with slight traces of wear. Watch is in overall very good condition, running and ready to wear or gift!
