Vintage and very rare stainless steel 35mm Girard Perregaux “Speed Date” automatic wristwatch, Cal. ETA 2472, SN: 2637081, made in 1960s. Features unusual manually operated calendar function that allows you to check a full month at one look aligning date and weekday through an inner rotating bezel. Never seen the second one, will be happy if someone could shed some light on this unusual timepiece. Probably “SpeedDate” was a predecessor of well known “Gyrodate”.
