Extremely rare CARTIER Lucite Transparent 8-Day Desk Clock — powered by a LeCoultre manual winding movement (Cal. M), made circa 1950. I’ve come across a few versions of this model, but this one stands out with its stunning transparent Lucite bezel (not gold plated as known examples) and elegant blued hands. A true piece of horological art. A similar example sold for over £3,000 at Sotheby’s in 2021.
To the best of my knowledge, the present clock is the third one to ever appear on the market.
Clock is in overall very good 8/10 condition, running and ready to use or gift!
