Very rare, probably early prototype, fine all steel 38 mm Girard Perregaux Traveller GMT automatic wristwatch, produced in the 1990’s. Presumable Ref.7200. The classic GMT watch with a 24-hour hand and a rotating bezel with 24 time zones, features modified automatic calibre Girard Perregaux 2200 (No. 225-867).
C. Three-body, polished, inclined steel bezel, straight lugs, the second time zone indicated by the bidirectional bezel, case back with 6 screws, sapphire crystal..D. White with painted Arabic and applied gold baton indexes, outer raised minute track, aperture for the date. Luminous yellow gold baton, moon and arrow hands..M. Cal. 225-867, rhodium-plated, 21 jewels, straight line, lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock-absorber, self compensating flat balance spring, micrometer screw regulator, hack mechanism. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 38 mm. Thickness 14 mm.
Runs great and all functions work as expected. Please take a look at the photos for condition. Bidirectional bezel is rotating a bit hard, as the watch was not in use since 90s. Watch is in practically mint, almost NOS condition, running and ready to wear or gift!
