Rare and beautifully preserved 36mm TECHNIC WATCH waterproof impermeable chronograph, powered by manual winding Cal. Valjoux VZ (aka 23VZ, the first version of Valjoux 23), made late 1940s. Valjoux VZ is one of the most iconic watch movements in history, the “VZ” name stands for “Valjoux Zähler”, meaning simply “Valjoux Chronograph”, underscoring its legacy as a pioneer among chronographs.
Incredible two-tone dial with multicoloured scales and a wonderful, homogeneous patina, aged lume on the dial and hands, massive watherproof case with “a forte pressione” case back (high-pressure closure system, same type as Cronografo Vetta Ermetico), fixed lugs and bolt pushers – everytihng you expect to have from great vintage chronograph.
Watch is in overall very good condition 8/10, running and ready to wear or gift!
