This is a great example classic vintage stainless steel TUDOR Prince Oysterdate Ref. 7996 automatic wristwatch, circa 1966 with its original Tudor Oyster stainless steel bracelet Ref. 7835 B. Run great and all functions work as expected.
The dial has a satin silvered finish and applied steel indexes, the numeral at 12 carries the engraved ‘Rose’ emblem of the Tudor brand. The stainless steel Rolex Oyster case retains excellent definition and is fitted with an immaculate, detachable, Tudor Oyster bracelet. The watch is powered by the Tudor finished ETA calibre 2462 with 25 jewels and semi-quick date change. Each day the date will change automatically around midnight but can be manually advanced when required by moving the hands backwards and forwards between 10pm and 2am.
