Vintage attractive stainless steel and rose gold Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust Chronometer wristwatch, Ref. 6075, (Movement SN: 30903, Case SN: 715335) often refereed to as the “Ovettone” or “Big Bubble back” due to its pronounced back. It was one of the first of the “Datejust” line of watches made by Rolex in the first part of the 1950s. Inside it houses Rolex’s early A296 automatic movement (the same as first Submariner 6200). This type of crown was phased out after around three years of production. Date is in red for all numbers (versus the so called Roulette date which alternates between red and black numbers).
