Very rare vintage Omega Marine Ref. CK 680 stainless steel diving watch, made in 1936. This particular version is identical to the gold model, and is more rare than CK 679. The dial is in original unrestored condition.

The Omega Marine was the first dive watch, the first watch specifically tested and qualified for diving. Two-part case, which had its top and bottom pieces connected to the straps, while a small clasp locked them securely on the case back. Additionally, the crown was placed at the top of the movement, inside the outer case, to protect it from any external damage.

C. Three-body, solid, polished and brushed, bezel inclined at sides and with raised bar on top and bottom, special “Marine” case, winding button concealed in outer case, overhanging curved lugs. D. Silver with painted black Dauphine numerals, outer minute track. Blued steel plume hands. M. Cal. 19.4 T2, rhodiumplated, 15 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case, and movement signed. Dim. 24 x 34 mm. Thickness 9.5 mm.

In fully working order. Good vintage condition, minor surface scratches, scuffs and discoloration through the age. Discolouration on the dial. New non-original leather strap and steel buckle. No box, no papers.
