Extremely rare 40mm all steel Chronograph Suisse “Selectron” Ref. 817 military-type wristwatch, made in 1970s as a civilian version of famous Lemania “SAAF”/“Viggen” the first dual pusher chronograph purchased for its pilots by the South African Air Force (SAAF) and by Swedish Air Force (SwAF). Powered by famous recently serviced manual robust caliber Lemania 1872. Among all the diversity of viggen chronographs, such as the Tissot Navigator, Lemania SAAF, Viggen, Rodania, Pontiac and Breitling the Selectron by Chronograph Swiss is one of the rarest. In superb overall condition 9/10, the watch just has been serviced, the bezel has taken a nice and attractive patina, fading to a light grey color, superbly aging creamy lume.
