It has an alligator leather strap with Audemars Piguet stainless steel folding clasp. The solid three-body strongbox case with a gold octagonal bezel screwed down by 8 hexagonal nuts; the case back is also secured by 8 yellow gold screws. It has downturned stainless lugs with 4 screws to secure the strap, a screwed-down stainless bi-directional hexagonal winding crown, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. Grey Tapisserie (waffle pattern) dial with raised luminous baton hour markers and baton hands. Sweep second hand. There is an aperture for the date at 3 o’clock, a power reserve of 60 hours at full wind, and it’s water resistant. The case, dial, and movement are all signed.
The automatic Audemars Piguet caliber 2125 movement is rhodium-plated. It’s constructed with 40 jewels, 280 components, and a shock absorber mechanism. It includes a straight-line lever escapement, a monometallic balance with variable inertia blocks, and a self-compensating flat balance-spring. It has a 22K gold monobloc oscillating weight with ceramic ball bearings, and the bevels on the bridges are diamond graved. It has a stop balance for setting the time, and the balance wheel oscillates at 21,600 vph (3 Hz).
