MIMO Centric Doctor Watch, 1940s

CHF 1,500

Sold

Extremely rare and well-preserved fine MIMO Centric small pocket doctor or nurse Regulator watch, made circa 1940s. Features rare manual wind movement calibre FHF 200, 13’’’, 15 jewels beating at 18000 bph, original gorgeous black dial with white Pulsometer scale and nickel-chrome case with diameter 33.5 mm.

In the beginning of the 20th Century Girard-Perregaux and MIMO (Maunfacture Internationale de Montres Or) were managed by the same owners and in January 1945 the decision was made by the Graef family, owners of Mimo Watch Co. to “concede to Girard-Perregaux & Co S.A, the agency for Mimo watches” and to focus on the GP name and it’s development and sales around the world. Hence the brands shared several models with just the different name on the dial, like Girard Perregaux Regulator and Mimo Centric.

Watch is in overall great, almost mint condition, running and ready to use!
