Here are few words from one of the experts (William) who has personally used same stopwatch for 1984 Summer Olympics:Â I worked on the results system which started with printed start lists and continued to laser-beam finish lines to scoreboards to the press and ABC TV. Even with all the gee-wiz (1984) technology, the final scores and results were decided with those stopwatches.
