Original and extremely rare, triangular, keyless, eight-day going, folding Masonic desk alarm Swiss made clock “LOVE YOUR FELLOW MAN, LEND HIM A HELPING HAND”. Made circa 1930 by TEMPOR WATCH Co, Schwab-Loeillet, Swiss. Features alarm function and amazingly well preserved original enamel dial with Masonic symbols.
Case. 11 x 11 cm three-body, triangular folding leather outer case embossed in gold with Solomon’s Temple, Masonic symbols around, brass bezel, hinged metal back. Dial. White enamel, triangular with colored painted Masonic symbols for the numerals, outer minute track, with the motto “Love Your Fellow Man, Lend Him a Helping Hand”. Blued steel Masonic hands. Movement. 43 mm., rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 15 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with 3 adjustments, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Movement and case signed.
N.B. To set the alarm press the small button on the crown few times, the first position of the crown is to wind the clock and alarm (alarm is off), the second position is to activate alarm (alarm is on), the third position is to set time (adjust the time only clockwise, never counterclockwise or the clock could be damaged).
