Extremely rare OMEGA Electronic Swiss television clock, Ref. OE 116 A, 1965. Especially developed for showing the time on the Swiss television network (usually before daily news program). Highly visible white hour markers, matt black decentred dial to prevent shadow from the hands, inscribed Omega Electronic . Glass mounted on the frame, which was removed just before the time was displayed to avoid any reflections on the camera. Equipped with an electric synchronous movement with continuous seconds Cal. FU 6, developed by Omega’s scientific research department, which became the Electronic Division DEL in 1966.
