VACHERON & CONSTANTIN REF. 6376 aka “DISCO VOLANTE” or “KNIFE EDGE”, No. 544077, case No. 369009, Ref. 6376, made in 1959. Very fine and rare, ultra-slim 18K white gold dress wristwatch with its original box, Vacheron Constantin leather bracelet and extract from Vacheron Constantin archives. Dial is 22mm, despite the bezel diameter is 32mm, so on wrist the watch looks probably more like a ladies watch, based on modern standards.
C. Two-body, solid, polished, snap-on case back, wide bezel and concave lugs. D. White silver. White gold baton hands. M. Cal. 1003 stamped with the Geneva Quality Mark, rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to heat, cold, isochronisms and 5 positions, shock absorber, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, micrometer regulator. Dial, case, bracelet and movement signed. Diam. 32 mm. Thickness 5 mm.
